2nd book of June and I'm proud. Ubuntu challenge came to an end on the 28th/06/2026. And I'm loving achieving my 28days reading streak. From the days of over ten pages read and even those where I could only record a single page read.
It's been a beautiful journey.
This book I chose for week 2 which encouraged reading financial books. I truly wanted to understand the depth of the book's title: Money Hard to Get But Easy to Spend To my surprise, despite the title, the book generally offered wise words for daily living. Cutting across finances, marriage, hardwork, success, Christianity etc.
Some of the adage I recall my father quoting. No doubt he usually encouraged us to read it.
It's not a lengthy book, harbouring life truths with my only concern being the English from the 80s which can be degrading for young readers, because I had difficulties keeping up with some of the stories simply because of the English. Plus I'm not too sure about the author of the book because it's not stated clearly.
All in all, my book rating of 2.5 ⭐⭐
