I've always been a huge fan of the superhero genre growing up, and the fact that this novel was inspired by not one but three superhero based show, took me in immediately.
Now this story follows our main character Mariam, a teenager. Who discovered she can bend the laws of quantum physics by means of dimensional travel, or otherwise known as teleportation. With no idea how she got this gift, or why she has it in the first place.
But with great power, must come great responsibility and we're thrown into the life of Mariam as she tries to navigate this duel identity. And as the story builds on, we see her struggles, and we're introduced into a lot of mind blowing revelations that will keep you glued to your screen, till the very end.
I can say the only thing that kicked me out of the story at times, was the writing style. This book being a debut did not deliver well with it's writing, and the structure was a bit over the place. And most of the decisions made by the characters in general and the executions were not handled well in my opinion.
The story itself was great, the sci-fi aspects were handled well. That's why this is a 3/5⭐ and if you're a sci-fi thriller fan, this book is definitely for you 💯 and if you can handle the writing style, you won't have a problem. A story fixed on power, and the responsibility that comes with it. And on a quest for identity.
This is book one in the series, so hopefully book 2 does great.
